Participation in “Energy Efficiency for Energy Transition” Conference 2023

On the 14th of September 2023, the Black Sea Floating Offshore Wind (BLOW) project participated in the “Energy Efficiency for Energy Transition” conference held at the Oxford Mamaia Hotel in Constanța. Organized by Energynomics in collaboration with the Romanian Energy Efficiency Fund (FREE) and the Directorate for Energy Efficiency of the Ministry of Energy, this event marked a significant step forward in the ongoing efforts to enhance energy efficiency and propel Romania towards a sustainable energy future.

For the 7th consecutive year, the campaign focused on raising awareness of key issues related to digitalization and the increased energy efficiency in Romania. The event aimed to bring together representatives from local authorities, experts, and companies to foster collaboration and contribute to the development of future-ready cities.

The BLOW project actively engaged in these sessions, providing insights into the potential of floating offshore wind technology in contributing to Romania’s energy efficiency goals. Project representatives shared valuable perspectives on harnessing offshore wind resources to generate clean energy and the role of such innovations in the broader energy transition landscape.

As the BLOW project participated in the “Energy Efficiency for Energy Transition – Constanța” event, it not only showcased the potential of offshore wind in the Black Sea but also demonstrated a commitment to collaborative efforts in advancing Romania’s energy efficiency agenda. The BLOW project looks forward to further collaborations and opportunities to drive positive change in the energy sector.
